The Roberts Diamond Bond Protective Shield (Kharkoal and Transparent) is applied to the hair directly wherever the weft is going to be placed. The shield dries in about 10 minutes into a plastic that protects the hair from bonding glue. The shield is completely water soluble and rinses out with warm water. Transparent is used for light or colored hair while the Kharkoal is used for black or dark colored – treated hair
