The AVLON Texture Release System - Benefits And How To Use

The AVLON Texture Release™ System is a heat-activated system made from amino acids and conditioning agents which go deep into the hair fibers to enable styling versatility. The system is for individuals with excessively curly to tightly coiled hair types that would like the option of straightening or elongating their curls without causing damage. The system provides temporary textural change for increased combing manageability. Texture Release utilizes the latest cutting-edge technology that is proving to be highly transformative for the consumer, proving that style versatility can be achieved without altering or compromising the structure of the hair.

To be used by professionals, the Avlon Texture Release system consists of 5 products:

BENEFITS

HOW IT WORKS

·       Amino Acids and Conditioning Agents: The system uses a proprietary formula infused with amino acids and conditioning agents rather than harsh chemical relaxer ingredients.

·       Crosslinking Technology: When activated under a dryer and sealed with heat (blow dryer and flat iron), the ingredients form crosslinks deep within the hair fibers.

·       No Permanent Change: Unlike a relaxer, it does not break sulfur bonds permanently, meaning your natural curl pattern eventually returns.

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Cleansing

1. Shampoo hair twice using the Texture Release Scalp Rejuvenating Sulfate-Free Shampoo to remove buildup.
2. Rinse thoroughly and towel-blot or dry hair to about 80% dampness

Step 2: Hair Dilator Application

1. Spray Hair Dilator thoroughly and work through hair.
2. Leave product on hair for 10 minutes with cap under the dryer.
3. After 10 minutes, remove the plastic cap and dry hair to 80%.
4. Proceed to Step 2 with the application of Releasing Lotion.

Step 3: Releasing Lotion Application

1. Shake the bottle gently before using.
2. Wear gloves.
3. Divide hair into four sections.
4. Subdivide the sections into thin partings.
5. Transfer 1 to 2 Oz of Releasing Lotion into a bowl.
6. Apply a manageable amount of the Releasing Lotion to each of thin partings of hair using an application brush and rat-tail comb.
7. To get even distribution, carefully comb through partings.
8. Do not over saturate the hair with Releasing Lotion.
9. While applying, keep product 1/8 (3mm) of an inch away from the scalp.
10. Leave product on for 30 minutes under dryer or steamer with a plastic cap.
11. After 30 minutes, remove the plastic cap and let the hair cool down for 5 minutes.
12. Rinse hair for a maximum of 3 minutes if the hair is very curly and or coily.
13. Do not rinse more.

Step 4: Drying - Thermal Protector:

1. Blow-dry hair using a comb attachment to the Blow Dryer. Or use flat brush during blow drying.
2. For Natural Styling (see below): Proceed to Curl Shape & Shine Cream.
3. For Versatile Straightening: Flat iron hair at 350° F using 3 passes of the iron on each section for versatile straightening. Versatile straightening leaves body in the hair, while subsequent styling becomes more manageable. Spray Thermal Protector lightly and flat iron hair in big sections to enhance hair shine.
4. For Optimal Straightening: Take thin parting and flat iron hair at 4S0° F and 7 passes for each thin parting for optimal straightening that lasts up to 2-3 months. Spray Thermal Protector lightly and flat iron hair in big partings to enhance hair shine.

Step 5: Curl Shape & Shine Cream:

1. For Wash-n-Wear Look: Spray Thermal Protector liberally, in order to humidity-proof the hair. Using water spray bottle, mist the hair and apply Curl Shape & Shine Cream. Wash-n-wear look is now complete.
2. For Twist Look: Using water spray bottle mist the hair. Spray Thermal Protector liberally for humidity-proof hair. Apply Curl Shape & Shine Cream from root to tip. Begin 2-strand twist, spray water if hair begins to dry before completing the twisting process. Air dry or dry under hooded dryer.

Phase 2: Integrating the Moisturizing Conditioner (Post-Care Maintenance)

To preserve the treatment, maximize its 2-month lifespan, and balance the hair's pH, the Scalp Rejuvenating & Moisturizing Conditioner must be introduced on your next normal wash cycle.

Step 6: The First Post-Treatment Wash (3 to 7 Days Later): When it is time for the first standard hair wash after the treatment, follow this specific conditioning sequence:

1. Wash the hair gently with the Scalp Rejuvenating Sulfate-Free Shampoo to cleanse without stripping the treatment coatings.
2. Apply a generous amount of the Scalp Rejuvenating & Moisturizing Conditioner. Distribute it thoroughly from the roots down to the ends using a wide-tooth comb.
3. Gather hair under a plastic cap and sit under a warm hooded dryer for 15 to 20 minutes (or leave on for 3 to 5 minutes without heat for a quick wash).
4. Rinse completely with cool water to close the hair cuticles, locking in maximum moisture, shine, and humidity resistance. Repeat this conditioning step weekly
